Bill Smith Motors are celebrating 50 Golden Years

Bill Smith Motors Landmarks:

· 1961 The 1st Bill Smith Motors (Liverpool) opens in Aigburth Liverpool

· 1966 Bill takes on the Suzuki franchise an purchased the 2 mills garage for Honda cars

· 1967 Became Bridgestone motorcycles importer - 767 bikes sold in 1967/68

· 1968 Imported the 1st Kawasaki machines into the UK

· 1973 Opened Bill Smith Motors (Winsford) and Bill Smith Motors (Rhyl)

· 1978 Bill wins Formula 3 World Championship in IOM

· 1978 Bill opened Warrington Shop in partnership with Tommy Robb

· 1979 Bill Smith Motors sold an incredible 3280 Honda Motorcycles

· 1981 Bill Smith Motors were appointed as Honda National spare parts distribution

· 1982 Bill survived an horrific crash at Ballaugh Bridge whilst lying 2nd in the 600cc F2.
  Despite his injuries Bill raced the TT again in 1984
