Kiyo Celebration – Shoei motorcycle helmet sponsored rider
Ryuichi Kiyonari’s heroic BSB Championship win in 2006 and again in 2007. Points-leading Japanese rider Ryuichi Kiyonari went into the final round of the 2007 Bennetts British Superbike Championship, at Brands Hatch, needing just a fourth place finish from the two races. The HM Plant Honda rider would be on his way to the World Championship for 2008, after four years in Britain, and was odds-on to make it two BSB titles in a row. Kiyo was presented with a unique Shoei helmet which he wore on his last race at Brands Hatch. The helmet was handed over by Feridax the Shoei wholesaler in the UK on behalf of Shoei Japan.
Ryuichi Kiyonari’s stunning second British Superbike Championship win was celebrated with a brand new Chrome and Gold Shoei X-Spirit.
The one-off chrome helmet, decorated with Kiyo’s dragon design in stunning gold, was flown in especially from the Japanese factory to help Kiyo celebrate his championship success.
A beaming Kioyonari was stunned when he received the helmet and commented ‘Awesome, mint’ when he mounted the Brands Hatch podium with his new Shoei.
