The Company services more than 1,200 motorcycle dealers across the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands, and has recently launched plans to expand its distribution of its Spada brand worldwide.

Sales Support Adviser

Position Available: Immediately

Salary: Competitive salary + benefits + pension scheme

Job description:

Reporting to the Sales Director, a position has become available within the sales support team to provide proactive sales assistance to both the Company’s customers and its team of Account Managers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming sales calls, stock enquiries and queries.
  • Proactive calls to customers with the latest offers/seeking new business
  • Interacting with customers via LiveChat
  • Handling queries made by dealers and members of the public through email and social media
  • Processing email orders
  • Providing support to Account Managers
  • Monitoring the logistics flow of orders through the business
  • Customer facing involvement with Motorcycle Live Show at the NEC
  • General sales administration tasks as required

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • One year’s experience in a relevant position
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Proactive and motivated approach to work
  • Knowledge of motorcycle technical parts desirable but not essential

Web content administrator

Position Available: Immediately

Job description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join an in-house marketing team at one of the UK’s largest independent motorcycle clothing distributors. In a fast paced industry and environment, you will be responsible for making sure that the company’s websites and digital platforms are up to date and working correctly.

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, creative individual with a background in web content management or creative fields.

As a new member of the team you will work closely with the Marketing Executive and IT team to ensure the company’s multiple consumer facing websites are updated and functional, keeping a keen eye on current web trends and implementing where appropriate. You will also work closely with the Lead Creative to ensure that current marketing campaigns are reflected with updated artworks on all sites.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Updating and adding new products to the websites
  • Creating web banners/assets in the Adobe suite
  • Managing and reporting on web traffic analytics
  • Optimising the websites for SEO
  • Constantly keeping a lookout for new techniques and features to bring the sites up to date
  • Supporting the Marketing team in any ways necessary

Desired Skills:

  • Strong knowledge/experience of Wordpress website management
  • Knowledge of other web development software
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe suite, specifically Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel for generating reports
  • Excellent communication and Team Spirit

Social media apprentice

Position Available: Immediately

Are you looking to break into a new career in social media and marketing? A leading Motorcycle apparel distribution company in the Birmingham area is looking for a talented and creative social media and marketing apprentice to manage the day to day running of multiple social media channels.

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, vibrant individual with a background/education in some form of Media Studies/Graphic communications course.

We are interested in hearing from candidates who either:

  • have prior experience of working in a social media role, or
  • who have a passion for motorcycling and would be interested in learning through an apprenticeship.

As an apprentice you will join the existing in-house marketing team and work closely with the Marketing Manager and Creative & Digital designer to execute multiple campaigns across the social media platforms for multiple big-name brands.

Apprentice daily duties

  • You’ll be updating and adding web content
  • You’ll be creating/updating marketing material
  • You’ll be creating new content using the Adobe Suite
  • You’ll be monitoring engagement across the social platforms
  • You’ll be managing SEO and PPC for the site

Apprentice Desired skills

  • Good knowledge of all social media platforms
  • Good English and maths
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office e.g. Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of Adobe creative software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and potentially Premiere Pro
  • Excellent communication & team spirit

Apprentice Personal qualities

  • Self-motivated

  • Ability to work from constructive feedback
